[INFO/TRANSCRIPT] Leeteuk, Heechul, Shindong & Yesung talk experience, marriage plans & summer comeback

From the get-go, the boys of  Super Junior were a topic of hot discussion. Launching their career in 2005 as a 13-member boy group, they’ve been reduced to 10 active members due to the departure of Han Geng and the absence of Kangin and Kibum.

Though all 10 members have branched out into acting, unit promotions, and solo activities, there were four members in particular who managed to shine in their respective areas; they’re none other than leader LeeteukKim HeechulYesung, and Shindong.

Coincidence or not, the four are dominating the prime time slots of MBCSBS, and KBSrespectively, and are highly recognized for their witty gab talents.

The reporters of JoongAng recently met up with the four at a fusion restaurant in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul and enjoyed a glass of soju or strawberry cocktail for a laid-back interview.

The reporter asked, “What’s your alcohol limit?”

Leeteuk: “Maybe a bottle of soju?  I can’t drink that well because I end up throwing up whatever I ate afterwards.”

[TRANSCRIPT] Intoxication Talk Part 4: Trivia quiz “We Forgot to Count one more”

When the four of them received the examination paper, they put their heads together and thought of the answers. At first, they were somewhat confused. They incorrectly said the answer to the 11th question was statute of limitations and then correctly changed it to probation. They spent some time to come up the correct answer for the 17th question which was India.
Because there were four of them, they demonstrated their knowledge by getting the idioms right. On the 13th question which asked who the president of children is, Leeteuk joked that the president of children is Leeteuk. Regrettably, they missed the 18th question and received the total score of 95 points. They have scored the highest yet along with the last interviewee Kang Sooyeon.

[TRANSCRIPT] Intoxication Talk Part1: 4 Members from Super Junior’s Pleasant Conversation

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

When idol group, Super Junior appeared in 2005, people particularly took notice of the number of members. It was because the group had whopping 13 members when other groups only had 5 or 6 members. The number was so big that a simple act of traveling to a concert venue was no joke.

6 years later, using quantity as their strategy, they qualitatively became successful. Although Kibum, Hangeng and Kangin left the group decreasing the number of members, the group became the top idol group with their hit songs “Sorry Sorry” and “Miinah.” Also, because of their individual and unit activities, they became more recognized. Among the members, leader Leeteuk, the oldest Kim Heechul, talented live singer Yesung and a comic Shindong are especially thriving working on TV shows and radio programs. Coincidently, these four are working at 3 broadcasting companies during prime time. It shows that they have been recognized for their talents in “chatting.”

I met these four last Sunday afternoon at a fusion restaurant in Chungdamdong, Seoul. They said it was their first time in a long time to be together in one place. Considering their respective preference, each mixed their regular soju with strawberry cocktail soju. They made a toast and had a comfortable conversation. Being the top idol and the new generation of MCs who will follow in the steps of Kang Hodong and Yoo Jaesuk, they revealed many stories. Read the rest of this entry
