[INFO/NEWS] ‘Immortal Song2’ Winner Yesung – his explosive high notes moved audience’s hearts

Yesung is the second winner of ‘Immortal Song2’ episode 3.

‘Immortal Song2’ was broadcast on June 18, on KBS 2TV. The legendary rockband BOOHWAL’s songs were the resurrection challenges for the idols to sing.

Before going on stage, Yesung said: “If I do well today, I can become the winner.” And eventually, his suggestive predict turned into reality.

Yesung has become the champion of ‘Immortal Song2’ this week. His victory was even more meaningful as in the first episode he lost early in the tournament, which gave a boost to his self-esteem (to be determined to win).

Yesung sang ‘The More I Love’ giving out a sorrowful atmosphere. His distinctive deep voice gives the light to the song. His high notes were well delivered. Singing BOOHWAL’s legendary song like how he does today, Yesung has made his own version with his powerful and excellent voice.

[INFO/NEWS] Yesung, introduced on a Japanese programme that provides Korean language courses

Super Junior Yesung’s song was introduced on a Japanese programme that teaches Korean.

Recently, on NHK Japan’s programme which provides Korean courses, Super Junior Yesung’s hit song “It Has To Be You”, which is the OST for the KBS2 drama “Cinderella’s Stepsister”, was introduced. The MCs explained that “Super Junior is a popular group which has 13 members gathered under its fold, and has widespread activities in terms of singing, MC-ing, acting and more. Yesung is responsible for the lead vocals (in the group), and in recognition of his outstanding vocals he also has solo activities”. Later on, they appreciated a scene in the drama which had “It Has To Be You” as an insert, and also had some time to analyse the lyrics of the song.

These days, after having the music industry bombarded with young and healthy idol singers, there are many excellent singing idols, but who happens to the best of all?

Portal Ezday conducted a poll for the popular TV entertainment corner asking, “From the male and female idol singers, who has the best vocals?“.

2287 people participated in the survey, the results for best female vocal idol went to IU, and for made idol, Changmin of 2AM.

41 percent of the netizens picked IU as the possessor of the best vocals amongst female idols without a doubt in mind. IU was followed by SNSD’s Taeyeon who received 18% of the votes.

Other idols that ranked in the top 10 were, Seo In Young, Lee HaeRi (Davichi), Park Bom (2NE1), Jea (Brown Eyed Girls), Luna (fx), Hyorin (Sistar), Narsha (Brown Eyed Girls), Sun Ye (Wonder Girls).
